the leaves put glucose in the branch.

They don't
Leaves have many cels. Thees are filled with green, yellow and orange substanses
called chlorophyll, xanthrophyll and carotene. The green stays ontop during the summer but in the fall the orange and yellow take over.We see the leaves change color but non do. The leaves only loose the green color. Red leaves are made with a little glucose sugar and carotene. Brown leaveare leaves that have died.
